6+ Years Post-Accreditation Experience

Hello. I'm Christian. I'm an accredited and registered counsellor and psychotherapist - I support individuals and couples with their emotional wellbeing. I hold private sector experience as a counsellor and psychotherapist. My focus includes depression, narcissistic personality disorder and relationship problems, as well as the particular difficulties faced by bisexual and gay men and women.

What to Expect

An introductory assessment appointment enables you to discover if you feel comfortable with me, discuss what troubles you, ask questions, clarify confidentiality, and decide if therapy could help you. Please use a contact option on the right to arrange an introductory assessment meeting in Newport.

Counselling centres on listening to you, and assisting you. You determine which matter concerning your early years or adult life you explore. The aim of counselling is to help you to talk about a difficulty and find a way forward which is appropriate for you.

The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) (England and Wales) recommends counselling for depression.

Integrative Therapy

Integrative therapy combines therapeutic approaches to fit your needs and the issues you experience. It considers your subjective experience and choices. The aim of integrative therapy is to help you develop your self-understanding.

Psychotherapy focuses on you, and you gaining insight into the problems you confront. It considers your ideas, emotions and significant moments in your history. Psychotherapy aims to help you develop or find appropriate ways of managing.
