More Detail

Over 6 Years Post-Registration Experience

Hi. I am Dharma Paul. I'm a registered counsellor and psychotherapist - I assist individuals and couples with their mental wellbeing. I have private sector experience as a counsellor and psychotherapist. My interest involves stress, and the particular issues experienced by men and women.

What to Expect

An introductory assessment appointment helps you to see if you feel comfortable with me, share what worries you, ask questions, clarify confidentiality, and decide if therapy may benefit you. Please use a contact option on the right to arrange a preliminary assessment session in Forest Gate, London or Stratford, London.

Counselling centres on listening to you, and supporting you. You determine what matter regarding your early years or adult life you discuss. An objective of counselling is to help you to speak about a difficulty and discover a way forward which is right for you.

Psychoanalytic Therapy

Psychoanalytic therapy concentrates on the unconscious causes of the issues you experience. It fosters your awareness of some of your unconscious. An objective of psychoanalytic therapy is for you to gain personal insight and utilise it if you wish to.

Psychotherapy focuses on you, and you gaining insight into the problems you face. It explores your thoughts, emotions and significant events in your history. Psychotherapy intends to help you develop or discover suitable methods of coping.
