More Detail

4 Years Post-Registration Experience

Hello. I am Abi Agboola. I'm a registered counsellor and psychotherapist - I support individuals with their emotional health. I have private sector experience as a counsellor and psychotherapist. My focus involves depression, Generalised Anxiety Disorder (GAD) and stress, as well as the specific issues encountered by women.

What to Expect

An initial assessment session enables you to see if you are comfortable with me, discuss what worries you, ask questions, clarify confidentiality, and decide if therapy may assist you. Please use a contact option on the right to book an initial assessment appointment in Crouch End, London or Waltham Cross.

Counselling

Counselling centres on listening to you, and supporting you. You decide which matter concerning your early years or adult life you discuss. An objective of counselling is to help you to talk about a problem and discover a solution that is appropriate for you.

The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) (England and Wales) recommends counselling for depression.

Psychotherapy

Psychotherapy focuses on you, and you gaining insight into the problems you confront. It considers your ideas, emotions and relevant events in your life. Psychotherapy aims to help you develop or discover suitable ways of managing.
