More Detail

Over 13 Years Post-Accreditation Experience

Hello. I'm Farah Cottier. I'm a senior accredited and registered counsellor and psychotherapist - I assist individuals with their emotional health. I have private sector experience as a counsellor and psychotherapist.

What to Expect

An initial assessment session enables you to discover if you are comfortable with me, discuss what concerns you, ask questions, understand confidentiality, and determine if therapy may benefit you. Please use a contact option on the right to arrange an introductory assessment appointment in Pinner.

Counselling centres on listening to you, and assisting you. You decide which issue concerning your childhood and/or adulthood you explore. The objective of counselling is to enable you to speak about a problem and find a solution which is appropriate for you.

Psychotherapy focuses on you, and you obtaining insight into the problems you confront. It considers your ideas, emotions and relevant moments in your history. Psychotherapy aims to help you change or discover appropriate methods of coping.

Transactional Analysis (TA)

TA focuses on the modes you use to interact with yourself and others. It considers the impact of your pre-conscious life strategy and how to enhance it. TA seeks to help you acknowledge your worth and ability to change.
