4+ Years Post-Registration Experience

Hello. I am John. I'm a registered counsellor and psychotherapist - I support individuals and couples with their psychological health. I have private and voluntary sector experience as a counsellor and psychotherapist. My interest includes depression, Generalised Anxiety Disorder (GAD) and panic disorder, as well as the specific issues faced by asexual, business and mixed ethnic background men and women.

What to Expect

An initial assessment meeting helps you to discover if you feel comfortable with me, discuss what concerns you, ask questions, clarify confidentiality, and assess if therapy may benefit you. Please use a contact option on the right to arrange an initial assessment session in Rugby or Nottingham.

Counselling

Counselling centres on listening to you, and assisting you. You decide which issue regarding your early years or adult life you discuss. The aim of counselling is to help you to speak about a problem and find a solution that is appropriate for you.

The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) (England and Wales) recommends counselling for depression.

Integrative Therapy

Integrative therapy combines therapeutic approaches to fit your needs and the problems you encounter. It explores your personal experience and options. The aim of integrative therapy is to help you develop your self-understanding.

Psychotherapy

(1 Review)
Psychotherapy focuses on you, and you gaining insight into the difficulties you face. It explores your ideas, feelings and significant moments in your history. Psychotherapy aims to help you develop or find appropriate ways of managing.
