Hello. I'm Susan Stuart. I'm a registered counsellor and psychotherapist - I assist individuals and couples with their mental wellbeing. I have private and public sector experience as a counsellor and psychotherapist. My interest includes bereavement, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and relationship problems, as well as the particular challenges experienced by men and women.

A preliminary assessment appointment enables you to discover if you feel comfortable with me, share what concerns you, ask questions, understand confidentiality, and decide if therapy may help you. Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

Cognitive behavioural therapy focuses on how your thoughts (cognitions) influence your feelings and behaviour. It recognises and challenges unhelpful ideas that perpetuate the problems you encounter. The objective of cognitive behavioural therapy is for you to experience healthier thoughts and emotions.
