16+ Years Post-Accreditation Experience

Hello. I'm Steve. I'm a senior accredited and registered counsellor and psychotherapist - I help individuals with their psychological health. I have private sector experience as a counsellor and psychotherapist. My interest includes relationship problems, as well as the particular obstacles faced by gay men.

What to Expect

An introductory assessment appointment enables you to discover if you are comfortable with me, share what troubles you, ask questions, clarify confidentiality, and assess if therapy may help you. Please use a contact option on the right to arrange an introductory assessment session in Waterloo, London.

Counselling

Counselling centres on listening to you, and assisting you. You decide what matter concerning your early years or adult life you discuss. The aim of counselling is to enable you to speak about a problem and discover a way forward that is right for you.

The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) (England and Wales) recommends counselling for depression.

Existential Therapy

Existential therapy investigates how you perceive your life. It involves deliberation on your perspectives, capacities and options. Existential therapy aims to help you discover significance in your life and the problems you experience.

Psychotherapy

Psychotherapy focuses on you, and you gaining insight into the difficulties you confront. It explores your ideas, emotions and significant moments in your history. Psychotherapy aims to help you change or find suitable ways of managing.
