4 Years Post-Registration Experience

Hello. I'm Simone. I'm a registered counsellor and psychotherapist - I help individuals and couples with their psychological health. I hold private and voluntary sector experience as a counsellor and psychotherapist. My interest includes depression, Generalised Anxiety Disorder (GAD) and relationship problems, and the specific difficulties encountered by men and women.

What to Expect

An introductory assessment meeting allows you to see if you feel comfortable with me, share what troubles you, ask questions, clarify confidentiality, and determine if therapy could help you. Please use a contact option on the right to book an initial assessment appointment in Chislehurst.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

CBT concentrates on how your thoughts influence your emotions and behaviour. It identifies and challenges negative thoughts that perpetuate the problems you encounter. The aim of CBT is for you to experience healthier thoughts and emotions.

The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) (England and Wales) recommends cognitive behavioural therapy for alcohol dependence, Body Dysmorphic Disorder (BDD), depression, Generalised Anxiety Disorder (GAD), Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), panic disorder, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), self harm and social anxiety disorder.

Easy to talk toHelpfulnessValue for Money

"Having been sent as a child into a family therapy unit, and subsequently sent to sessions when I developed M.E. my faith in counsellors was pretty fragmented. I wasn't sure what to expect. Its been nearly 6 months now and I feel like a weight has been taken from my mind. I probably couldn't offer the right words to qualify my appreciation of finally finding someone who can answer the questions Iíve carried with me. So very thankful."
