What to Expect

An introductory assessment meeting enables you to discover if you feel comfortable with me, share what concerns you, ask questions, clarify confidentiality, and determine if therapy may assist you. Please use a contact option on the right to book an introductory assessment meeting in Hendon, London.

Counselling centres on listening to you, and supporting you. You determine which matter regarding your childhood or adult life you explore. An objective of counselling is to help you to talk about a problem and discover a solution that is right for you.

The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) (England and Wales) recommends counselling for depression.

Psychoanalytic Therapy

Psychoanalytic therapy concentrates on the unconscious causes of the problems you encounter. It fosters your consciousness of parts of your unconscious. An objective of psychoanalytic therapy is for you to gain personal knowledge and use it if you decide to.

Psychodynamic Therapy

Psychodynamic therapy focuses on the unconscious causes of the issues you encounter. It facilitates you in becoming conscious of parts of your inner dynamics. Psychodynamic therapy seeks to increase your self-comprehension to give you options.

The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) (England and Wales) recommends psychodynamic therapy for depression.

Psychotherapy focuses on you, and you gaining insight into the problems you face. It considers your ideas, emotions and significant moments in your life. Psychotherapy intends to help you change or find appropriate ways of managing.
