More Detail

6+ Years Post-Registration Experience

Hi. I am Michelle. I'm a registered counsellor - I support individuals with their mental wellbeing. I hold private sector experience as a counsellor. My focus involves depression, self esteem and stress, and the particular obstacles faced by men, transgender people and women.

What to Expect

An introductory assessment session allows you to see if you feel comfortable with me, discuss what troubles you, ask questions, understand confidentiality, and assess if therapy could help you. Please use a contact option on the right to book a preliminary assessment meeting in Kingston Upon Thames.

Counselling

Counselling centres on listening to you, and supporting you. You decide which issue concerning your childhood and/or adult life you explore. The objective of counselling is to help you to talk about a difficulty and find a solution which is appropriate for you.

The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) (England and Wales) recommends counselling for depression.

Integrative Therapy

Integrative therapy combines therapeutic approaches to suit your needs and the issues you experience. It explores your subjective experiences and choices. An aim of integrative therapy is to help you advance your self-understanding.

Relational Therapy

Relational therapy focuses on how you communicate with people. It encourages your honesty about the problems you experience. The objective of relational therapy is to help you identify healthy ways of relating.
