Hi. I'm Martin. I'm an accredited and registered counsellor and psychotherapist - I support individuals with their psychological wellbeing. I have private and public sector experience as a counsellor and psychotherapist. My interest includes depression, relationship problems and stress, as well as the specific issues experienced by men and women.

What to Expect

An introductory assessment session enables you to see if you are comfortable with me, discuss what concerns you, ask questions, clarify confidentiality, and decide if therapy may assist you. Please use a contact option on the right to arrange an initial assessment session in Stony Stratford, Milton Keynes.

Client Centred Therapy

Client centred therapy concentrates on appreciating and accepting you. It facilitates your openness around the worries you encounter. Client centred therapy aims to help you discover your own answers.

Counselling

Counselling centres on listening to you, and assisting you. You decide what matter concerning your early years or adult life you explore. The aim of counselling is to help you to talk about a difficulty and find a solution that is appropriate for you.

The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) (England and Wales) recommends counselling for depression.

Psychotherapy

Psychotherapy focuses on you, and you gaining insight into the difficulties you confront. It considers your ideas, emotions and significant events in your history. Psychotherapy aims to help you change or discover appropriate ways of coping.
