Hello. I am Marianne Kinde. I'm a registered counsellor and psychotherapist - I help individuals with their psychological wellbeing. What to Expect

An initial assessment appointment enables you to discover if you feel comfortable with me, share what troubles you, ask questions, clarify confidentiality, and assess if therapy could help you. Please use a contact option on the right to arrange an initial assessment appointment in St. Pauls, London.

Counselling

Counselling centres on listening to you, and supporting you. You determine what matter concerning your childhood or adulthood you explore. The aim of counselling is to help you to speak about a problem and find a way forward which is right for you.

The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) (England and Wales) recommends counselling for depression.

Psychodynamic Therapy

Psychodynamic therapy focuses on the unconscious causes of the issues you experience. It facilitates you in becoming aware of parts of your internal dynamics. Psychodynamic therapy aims to enhance your self-understanding to give you options.

The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) (England and Wales) suggests psychodynamic therapy for anorexia nervosa, depression, self harm and social anxiety disorder.

Psychotherapy

Psychotherapy focuses on you, and you gaining insight into the problems you face. It considers your ideas, emotions and significant events in your life. Psychotherapy intends to help you change or discover suitable ways of coping.
