6+ Years Post-Registration Experience

Welcome. I am Marianne Jospe. I'm a registered psychotherapist - I support individuals with their emotional wellbeing. I have private and voluntary sector experience as a psychotherapist. My focus involves abuse, depression and relationship problems, and the specific problems experienced by men and women.

What to Expect

An introductory assessment session allows you to see if you feel comfortable with me, share what troubles you, ask questions, understand confidentiality, and assess if therapy could benefit you. Please use a contact option on the right to book a preliminary assessment appointment in Fulham Broadway, London or Victoria, London.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

Cognitive behavioural therapy concentrates on how your thoughts (cognitions) affect your emotions and actions. It identifies and addresses negative thoughts that perpetuate the issues you encounter. The objective of cognitive behavioural therapy is for you to experience healthier thoughts and feelings.

The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) (England and Wales) indicates cognitive behavioural therapy for alcohol dependence, anorexia nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder (BED), bipolar disorder, bulimia nervosa, depression, Generalised Anxiety Disorder (GAD), Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), panic disorder, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and self harm.

Psychodynamic Therapy

Psychodynamic therapy centres on the unconscious meaning of the issues you encounter. It facilitates you in being conscious of aspects of your internal dynamics. Psychodynamic therapy seeks to increase your self-understanding to give you choices.

The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) (England and Wales) recommends psychodynamic therapy for anorexia nervosa, depression and self harm.

Psychotherapy focuses on you, and you obtaining insight into the problems you face. It considers your thoughts, feelings and significant moments in your life. Psychotherapy aims to help you change or find appropriate methods of managing.
