More Detail

8 Years Post-Registration Experience

Hi. I'm Malcolm. I'm a registered counsellor and psychotherapist - I help individuals with their mental wellbeing. I have private, public and voluntary sector experience as a counsellor and psychotherapist. My interest involves depression, relationship problems and self esteem, as well as the particular issues encountered by men, transgender people and women.

What to Expect

A preliminary assessment meeting allows you to discover if you feel comfortable with me, share what worries you, ask questions, understand confidentiality, and assess if therapy may help you. Please use a contact option on the right to arrange an initial assessment session in Farringdon, London, Whetstone, London or Fitzrovia, London.

Counselling

Counselling centres on listening to you, and supporting you. You decide what issue concerning your early years or adulthood you explore. The objective of counselling is to enable you to speak about a problem and find a solution that is right for you.

The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) (England and Wales) recommends counselling for depression.

Existential Therapy

Existential therapy investigates how you perceive your life. It involves reflection on your viewpoints, capacities and choices. Existential therapy seeks to help you discover meaning in your existence and the issues you encounter.

Psychotherapy

Psychotherapy focuses on you, and you gaining insight into the problems you confront. It considers your ideas, feelings and relevant events in your life. Psychotherapy intends to help you develop or discover suitable methods of coping.
