6+ Years Post-Accreditation Experience

Hello. I am Lucy Flannery. I'm an accredited and registered counsellor and psychotherapist - I assist individuals and couples with their mental wellbeing. I have private sector experience as a counsellor and psychotherapist. My focus includes anger, depression and Generalised Anxiety Disorder (GAD), as well as the particular issues encountered by men, transgender people and women.

What to Expect

A preliminary assessment session enables you to discover if you feel comfortable with me, discuss what worries you, ask questions, understand confidentiality, and determine if therapy could assist you. Please use a contact option on the right to book an introductory assessment session in West End, London or Shepherds Bush, London.

Counselling

Counselling centres on listening to you, and assisting you. You decide what matter concerning your early years or adulthood you discuss. The objective of counselling is to help you to talk about a problem and discover a way forward that is appropriate for you.

The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) (England and Wales) recommends counselling for depression.

Psychotherapy

Psychotherapy focuses on you, and you obtaining insight into the problems you face. It explores your thoughts, feelings and significant moments in your life. Psychotherapy aims to help you change or discover appropriate ways of managing.
