5+ Years Post-Accreditation Experience

Hello. I am Lorraine. I'm an accredited and registered counsellor and psychotherapist - I help individuals and couples with their mental health. I hold private and public sector experience as a counsellor and psychotherapist. My interest includes Generalised Anxiety Disorder (GAD), relationship problems and stress, as well as the particular problems faced by business, gay and heterosexual men, transgender people and women.

What to Expect

An introductory assessment session enables you to discover if you are comfortable with me, share what troubles you, ask questions, understand confidentiality, and assess if therapy may help you. Please use a contact option on the right to arrange an initial assessment meeting in Hayes, Bromley.

Counselling

Counselling centres on listening to you, and supporting you. You determine which issue regarding your childhood and/or adult life you discuss. The aim of counselling is to enable you to speak about a problem and find a way forward that is appropriate for you.

The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) (England and Wales) recommends counselling for depression.

Integrative Therapy

Integrative therapy combines therapeutic approaches to suit your needs and the issues you encounter. It explores your personal experience and choices. The aim of integrative therapy is to help you advance your self-understanding.

Psychotherapy

Psychotherapy focuses on you, and you obtaining insight into the difficulties you confront. It explores your ideas, emotions and relevant moments in your history. Psychotherapy intends to help you develop or discover suitable methods of managing.
