10+ Years Post-Accreditation Experience

Hello. I am Linda. I'm an accredited and registered counsellor - I assist individuals with their emotional wellbeing. I have private sector experience as a counsellor. My focus involves depression, panic disorder and self esteem, as well as the specific challenges faced by women.

What to Expect

A preliminary assessment session enables you to discover if you are comfortable with me, discuss what worries you, ask questions, clarify confidentiality, and decide if therapy may help you. Please use a contact option on the right to book an initial assessment meeting in Chingford, London.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

CBT focuses on how your thoughts influence your emotions and actions. It recognises and challenges unhelpful ideas that maintain the problems you experience. The aim of cognitive behavioural therapy is for you to experience healthier thoughts and emotions.

The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) (England and Wales) suggests cognitive behavioural therapy for depression, Generalised Anxiety Disorder (GAD), Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), panic disorder, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), self harm and social anxiety disorder.

Counselling

Easy to talk toHelpfulnessValue for Money

"Linda listened very carefully and was able to identify key areas that I needed help with. She was able to question and push issues with care and caution, without leading or making me feel uncomfortable. She has been able to help me to deal with some very specific problems by recommending a range of strategies and techniques."
