Counselling

Counselling centres on listening to you, and supporting you. You decide what matter concerning your childhood or adult life you explore. The objective of counselling is to enable you to speak about a problem and discover a solution which is appropriate for you.

The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) (England and Wales) recommends counselling for depression.

Psychodynamic Therapy

Psychodynamic therapy centres on the unconscious causes of the problems you encounter. It facilitates you in becoming aware of parts of your inner dynamics. Psychodynamic therapy seeks to enhance your self-understanding to give you choices.

The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) (England and Wales) recommends psychodynamic therapy for depression, self harm and social anxiety disorder.

Psychotherapy
