17+ Years Post-Registration Experience

Welcome. I'm Julie Harding. I'm a registered counsellor and psychotherapist - I support individuals with their emotional wellbeing. I have private and public sector experience as a counsellor and psychotherapist. My interest includes depression, self esteem and stress, as well as the particular problems experienced by women.

What to Expect

An initial assessment session helps you to see if you feel comfortable with me, discuss what concerns you, ask questions, understand confidentiality, and decide if therapy could help you. Please use a contact option on the right to book an initial assessment appointment in Kings Langley.

Counselling centres on listening to you, and assisting you. You determine what matter concerning your early years and/or adulthood you discuss. An objective of counselling is to help you to talk about a problem and discover a way forward which is appropriate for you.

The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) (England and Wales) recommends counselling for depression.

Integrative Therapy

Integrative therapy selects therapies to fit your needs and the issues you encounter. It explores your personal experiences and options. The aim of integrative therapy is to help you develop your self-understanding.

Psychosynthesis Therapy

Psychosynthesis therapy views the blocks you encounter as moments for you to develop. It facilitates your understanding of your different attributes. An objective of psychosynthesis therapy is to help you harmonise aspects of yourself.

Psychotherapy focuses on you, and you gaining insight into the difficulties you face. It explores your thoughts, feelings and relevant moments in your history. Psychotherapy aims to help you develop or find appropriate methods of managing.
