17+ Years Post-Accreditation Experience

Hi. I am Judith Langdon. I'm a senior accredited and registered counsellor and psychotherapist and a registered psychotherapeutic counsellor - I help individuals and couples with their emotional health. I have private and public sector experience as a counsellor and psychotherapist and a psychotherapeutic counsellor. My focus involves anger, depression and relationship problems, and the specific obstacles experienced by men and women.

What to Expect

A preliminary assessment appointment enables you to discover if you are comfortable with me, share what worries you, ask questions, clarify confidentiality, and assess if therapy could help you. Please use a contact option on the right to book an introductory assessment meeting in Reading.

Counselling centres on listening to you, and assisting you. You decide which matter concerning your early years or adult life you explore. The aim of counselling is to enable you to talk about a difficulty and find a way forward which is right for you.

The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) (England and Wales) recommends counselling for depression.

Psychotherapy focuses on you, and you obtaining insight into the problems you confront. It considers your ideas, emotions and significant events in your history. Psychotherapy aims to help you change or find suitable ways of managing.
