4+ Years Post-Registration Experience

Hello. I'm Jane Zoega. I'm a registered counsellor and psychotherapist - I support individuals and couples with their mental wellbeing. I hold private and voluntary sector experience as a counsellor and psychotherapist. My focus includes abuse and Generalised Anxiety Disorder (GAD), and the particular obstacles faced by men and women.

What to Expect

A preliminary assessment meeting enables you to see if you are comfortable with me, discuss what worries you, ask questions, understand confidentiality, and decide if therapy may help you. Please use a contact option on the right to arrange a preliminary assessment meeting in Clapham, London or Wareham.

Counselling centres on listening to you, and supporting you. You decide which issue regarding your childhood or adult life you discuss. The objective of counselling is to enable you to speak about a problem and discover a solution which is right for you.

The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) (England and Wales) recommends counselling for depression.

Existential Therapy

Existential therapy explores how you perceive your existence. It encompasses deliberation on your viewpoints, potential and options. Existential therapy seeks to help you find significance in your life and the issues you encounter.

Psychology is interested in you and your mind, emotions and behaviour. It offers you psychological treatments and mental health support. An objective of psychological therapies is to help you alleviate symptoms.

Psychotherapy focuses on you, and you obtaining insight into the difficulties you face. It considers your thoughts, emotions and relevant moments in your history. Psychotherapy intends to help you develop or discover suitable methods of managing.
