25+ Years Post-Registration Experience

Hello. I'm Frank Franklyn. I'm a registered counsellor and psychotherapist - I support individuals with their emotional health. I hold private sector experience as a counsellor and psychotherapist. My interest includes stress, as well as the particular problems encountered by men.

What to Expect

A preliminary assessment meeting enables you to discover if you are comfortable with me, share what troubles you, ask questions, understand confidentiality, and determine if therapy could benefit you. Please use a contact option on the right to book an initial assessment appointment in Hendon, London.

Counselling

Counselling centres on listening to you, and supporting you. You determine what issue regarding your early years or adult life you explore. An objective of counselling is to help you to talk about a difficulty and find a way forward that is right for you.

The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) (England and Wales) recommends counselling for depression.

Humanistic Therapy

Humanistic therapy focuses on appreciating you. It sees you as a whole human being and emphasises your unique growth. Humanistic therapy seeks to help you realise your autonomy.

Psychoanalytic Therapy

Psychoanalytic therapy concentrates on the unconscious causes of the problems you encounter. It facilitates your awareness of parts of your unconscious. An objective of psychoanalytic therapy is for you to attain personal insight and use it if you wish to.

Psychotherapy

Psychotherapy focuses on you, and you gaining insight into the problems you face. It considers your ideas, feelings and relevant events in your life. Psychotherapy aims to help you develop or discover appropriate methods of managing.
