Hi. I'm Elizabeth. I'm a senior accredited and registered counsellor and psychotherapist - I assist individuals with their emotional wellbeing. I have private sector experience as a counsellor and psychotherapist. My focus involves depression, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and stress, and the specific problems experienced by men and women.

What to Expect

An introductory assessment session enables you to see if you feel comfortable with me, discuss what worries you, ask questions, clarify confidentiality, and determine if therapy may assist you. Please use a contact option on the right to book a preliminary assessment appointment in Catford, London.

Client Centred Therapy

Client centred therapy focuses on appreciating and accepting you. It facilitates your honesty about the concerns you experience. Client centred therapy seeks to help you find your own answers.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

CBT focuses on how your thoughts affect your emotions and behaviour. It recognises and addresses negative thoughts which maintain the issues you experience. The aim of cognitive behavioural therapy is for you to experience healthier thoughts and emotions.

The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) (England and Wales) indicates CBT for Body Dysmorphic Disorder (BDD), depression, Generalised Anxiety Disorder (GAD), Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), panic disorder, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and social anxiety disorder.

Easy to talk toHelpfulnessValue for Money

"Elizabeth is very understanding, patient, a good listener and puts in perspective things you may not be able to see. Talking therapy was incredibly helpful because it felt like progress was made after each session. She was so easy to talk to that the sessions just blew by! I liked her approach to analysing the things I would say. I liked her honesty and the way she was open to telling me what she thought. Because of this, I found her trustworthy. Itís clear that Elizabeth has a wide breadth of knowledge on the subject of therapy. She made me feel safe and comfortable in our sessions in a way you would feel with a friend. I cannot recommend Elizabeth enough!"
