6+ Years Post-Registration Experience

Hello. I'm Laura. I'm a registered and chartered clinical psychologist - I help individuals with their psychological health. I have private sector experience as a clinical psychologist. My interest includes Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD), depression and self esteem, as well as the specific issues encountered by men and women.

What to Expect

A preliminary assessment meeting allows you to see if you are comfortable with me, share what troubles you, ask questions, understand confidentiality, and assess if therapy may benefit you. Please use a contact option on the right to arrange an introductory assessment appointment in Bank, London or Bishopsgate, London.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

CBT concentrates on how your thoughts (cognitions) affect your emotions and behaviour. It identifies and addresses negative thoughts that perpetuate the problems you encounter. The objective of cognitive behavioural therapy is for you to have healthier thoughts and emotions.

The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) (England and Wales) indicates cognitive behavioural therapy for depression, Generalised Anxiety Disorder (GAD), panic disorder, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), self harm and social anxiety disorder.

Psychology

Psychology is interested in you and your mind, emotions and actions. It offers you psychological treatments and mental wellbeing support. The objective of psychological therapies is to help you alleviate symptoms.
