What to Expect

A preliminary assessment appointment allows you to discover if you feel comfortable with me, share what concerns you, ask questions, clarify confidentiality, and decide if therapy could assist you. Please use a contact option on the right to book an initial assessment appointment in Belsize Park, London or West End, London.

Counselling centres on listening to you, and assisting you. You decide what matter regarding your childhood or adulthood you discuss. The aim of counselling is to enable you to speak about a problem and discover a way forward which is appropriate for you.

The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) (England and Wales) recommends counselling for depression.

Psychoanalytic Therapy

Psychoanalytic therapy focuses on the unconscious meaning of the problems you encounter. It facilitates your consciousness of some of your unconscious. An aim of psychoanalytic therapy is for you to attain personal knowledge and use it if you wish to.

Psychodynamic Therapy

Psychodynamic therapy focuses on the unconscious meaning of the problems you experience. It facilitates you in being conscious of parts of your internal dynamics. Psychodynamic therapy seeks to enhance your self-comprehension to give you options.
