6+ Years Post-Chartership Experience

Hi. I am Justin Savage. I'm a chartered and registered clinical psychologist - I help individuals with their psychological wellbeing. I have private and public sector experience as a clinical psychologist. My focus involves abuse, depression and Generalised Anxiety Disorder (GAD), as well as the specific challenges experienced by men and women.

What to Expect

An introductory assessment session enables you to discover if you feel comfortable with me, discuss what troubles you, ask questions, clarify confidentiality, and determine if therapy could benefit you. Please use a contact option on the right to arrange an initial assessment appointment in Bridgnorth, Newport or Kidderminster.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

Cognitive behavioural therapy focuses on how your thoughts influence your emotions and behaviour. It recognises and addresses unhelpful ideas which maintain the problems you encounter. The objective of cognitive behavioural therapy is for you to have healthier thoughts and feelings.

The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) (England and Wales) indicates CBT for anorexia nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder (BED), bipolar disorder, Body Dysmorphic Disorder (BDD), bulimia nervosa, depression, Generalised Anxiety Disorder (GAD), Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), panic disorder, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), self harm and social anxiety disorder.

Psychology is interested in you and your thoughts, feelings and behaviour. It offers you psychological treatments and mental health support. An intention of psychological therapy is to help you alleviate symptoms.

Psychotherapy focuses on you, and you gaining insight into the problems you face. It considers your thoughts, feelings and relevant events in your history. Psychotherapy aims to help you change or find suitable ways of coping.
