I hold private and public sector experience as a clinical psychologist and a psychotherapist. My focus involves relationship problems, and the specific problems faced by women.

What to Expect

A preliminary assessment appointment enables you to discover if you feel comfortable with me, share what troubles you, ask questions, understand confidentiality, and determine if therapy may benefit you. Please use a contact option on the right to book an introductory assessment meeting in Wolvercote, Oxford.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

CBT concentrates on how your thoughts influence your feelings and actions. It recognises and challenges unhelpful ideas that perpetuate the problems you experience. The objective of CBT is for you to experience healthier thoughts and emotions.

The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) (England and Wales) indicates CBT for alcohol dependence, depression, Generalised Anxiety Disorder (GAD), Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), panic disorder, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and social anxiety disorder.
