"John treats me as an individual and is not patronising in his manner. I feel that John is compassionate, open minded and has more of a sense of humour than therapists Iíve seen previously. I would definitely recommend him."

"So glad we found John, my 17 year old daughter was suffering with terrible anxiety before she started her therapy sessions. She found that John put her at her ease and very easy to talk to, after every session she would come out as if a weight had been lifted off her shoulders. It's so lovely to have my daughter so relaxed, happy and with a much more positive outlook on life. I don't think we would have got this far so quickly if it wasn't for John. I cannot thank John enough for all his help and support, money well spent as far as we are concerned."

"John is an incredibly understanding, helpful and thoughtful therapist. I was totally against the idea of ever speaking to anyone regarding the issues I have, but John made it incredibly easy for me to open up about a number of problems. John is non judgemental and guides me to resolve the issues in a calm and effective manner that suits me. He has worked wonders for my confidence and self esteem, helped with my lack of sleep and stress levels and I would highly recommend John to anyone that is in need of therapy."

"John's ability to reason with my emotions was exceptional, he was able to logically explain what I was going through from a psychological perspective, when I wasn't 100% sure myself. He gave me good advice, he taught me how to cope with my depression, gradually, as each week went on, I found as long as I followed his excellent advice, I'd begin to feel better than the week before. I can now honestly say, thanks to everything that John has helped me with, I've never felt better, I owe this man a great thanks for all the help he has given me. I would be more than happy to recommend Dr John Payne to anyone, friend, family or strangers, he has a lot of experience with his work, and he's clearly good at what he does."

"John is a warm, friendly, kind person who makes you feel like you're opening up to a long standing friend. He is helping me work through childhood emotional neglect and sleep problems. I bounce out of our sessions feeling lighter and full of purpose. I no longer fear that I will always feel this way, I have hope that I can heal in time. He has helped me to understand the reasons why I feel the way I do and made me realise that I am not alone. I look forward to where this journey will take me and I am so glad that I have found John to guide me along the way."
