3+ Years Post-Registration Experience

Welcome. I am David Buswell. I'm an accredited and registered counsellor and psychotherapist - I help individuals with their mental wellbeing. I have private and voluntary sector experience as a counsellor and psychotherapist. My interest includes abuse, alcohol dependence, depression and relationship problems, and the particular challenges faced by men and women.

What to Expect

An introductory assessment appointment enables you to discover if you are comfortable with me, discuss what troubles you, ask questions, clarify confidentiality, and determine if therapy may assist you. Please use a contact option on the right to arrange an initial assessment appointment in Titchmarsh, Kettering.

Counselling centres on listening to you, and supporting you. You determine what issue regarding your early years and/or adult life you explore. The aim of counselling is to enable you to talk about a difficulty and discover a way forward which is appropriate for you.

The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) (England and Wales) recommends counselling for depression.

Psychosynthesis Therapy

Psychosynthesis therapy views the blocks you experience as opportunities for you to grow. It fosters your understanding of your different attributes. An aim of psychosynthesis therapy is to help you harmonise elements of yourself.

Psychotherapy focuses on you, and you obtaining insight into the problems you face. It explores your thoughts, feelings and significant events in your life. Psychotherapy aims to help you develop or discover appropriate ways of managing.
