More Detail

4+ Years Post-Registration Experience

Hi. I am Coralyn. I'm a registered counsellor and psychotherapist - I assist individuals and couples with their psychological health. I have private, public and voluntary sector experience as a counsellor and psychotherapist. My focus includes bereavement, relationship problems and stress, as well as the specific difficulties faced by women.

What to Expect

A preliminary assessment session helps you to see if you are comfortable with me, share what concerns you, ask questions, clarify confidentiality, and determine if therapy may benefit you. Please use a contact option on the right to book an initial assessment appointment in Stilton, Peterborough.

Counselling

Counselling centres on listening to you, and supporting you. You decide which issue regarding your early years or adult life you explore. The aim of counselling is to enable you to speak about a difficulty and discover a way forward that is right for you.

The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) (England and Wales) recommends counselling for depression.

Psychotherapy

Psychotherapy focuses on you, and you obtaining insight into the difficulties you face. It explores your thoughts, feelings and significant events in your history. Psychotherapy intends to help you change or find appropriate ways of coping.
