Counselling centres on listening to you, and assisting you. You decide what matter regarding your early years or adult life you discuss. An aim of counselling is to help you to speak about a problem and find a way forward that is appropriate for you.

The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) (England and Wales) recommends counselling for depression.

Psychodynamic Therapy

Psychodynamic therapy centres on the unconscious meaning of the problems you encounter. It facilitates you in becoming conscious of parts of your inner dynamics. Psychodynamic therapy aims to enhance your self-comprehension to give you choices.

The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) (England and Wales) indicates psychodynamic therapy for anorexia nervosa, depression, self harm and social anxiety disorder.

Easy to talk toHelpfulnessValue for Money

"Christina was very welcoming and open to listen and comforting in that I didn't feel I had to hold back on anything I needed to say, and whatever the subject was at the time Christina would let me talk, cry and get angry at times to express my emotions in a way that made me feel relaxed and at ease. After having counselling previously elsewhere to which I didn't feel 100% comfortable with or that I achieved what I needed to, I was in no doubt that when I got to where I felt I needed to with Christina I was a different person both mentally and physically."
