5 Years Post-Registration Experience

Hi. I'm Camille. I'm a registered counsellor and psychotherapist - I help individuals and couples with their psychological health. I have private and voluntary sector experience as a counsellor and psychotherapist. My interest involves abuse, depression and self esteem, and the specific problems encountered by men and women.

What to Expect

An introductory assessment session enables you to see if you feel comfortable with me, share what troubles you, ask questions, understand confidentiality, and decide if therapy may benefit you. Please use a contact option on the right to arrange an introductory assessment session in Dorking.

Counselling centres on listening to you, and supporting you. You determine which matter regarding your early years or adult life you discuss. An objective of counselling is to enable you to speak about a difficulty and discover a way forward that is right for you.

The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) (England and Wales) recommends counselling for depression.

Humanistic Therapy

Humanistic therapy focuses on appreciating you. It considers you as a whole human being and emphasises your unique growth. Humanistic therapy seeks to help you recognise your freedom.

Psychotherapy focuses on you, and you obtaining insight into the problems you face. It considers your ideas, feelings and significant events in your history. Psychotherapy aims to help you develop or find suitable methods of managing.
