Hi. I'm Brigette Neita-Bailey. I'm a registered counsellor and psychotherapist - I support individuals with their psychological wellbeing. I have private sector experience as a counsellor and psychotherapist. What to Expect

An introductory assessment appointment allows you to see if you feel comfortable with me, discuss what worries you, ask questions, clarify confidentiality, and assess if therapy may benefit you. Please use a contact option on the right to book an introductory assessment appointment in Bellingham, London.

Counselling

Counselling centres on listening to you, and supporting you. You determine which issue regarding your childhood or adult life you explore. The objective of counselling is to enable you to talk about a difficulty and find a way forward which is appropriate for you.

The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) (England and Wales) recommends counselling for depression.

Psychodynamic Therapy

Psychodynamic therapy focuses on the unconscious causes of the issues you experience. It facilitates you in becoming aware of aspects of your internal dynamics. Psychodynamic therapy aims to increase your self-understanding to give you options.

The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) (England and Wales) indicates psychodynamic therapy for depression, self harm and social anxiety disorder.

Psychotherapy

Psychotherapy focuses on you, and you gaining insight into the problems you face. It explores your thoughts, emotions and significant events in your life. Psychotherapy aims to help you develop or discover suitable ways of coping.
