6+ Years Post-Registration Experience

Welcome. I am Ann Thompson. I'm an accredited and registered counsellor - I support individuals and couples with their psychological wellbeing. I have private sector experience as a counsellor. My interest includes depression, and the specific issues faced by men and women.

What to Expect

A preliminary assessment appointment enables you to see if you feel comfortable with me, share what concerns you, ask questions, clarify confidentiality, and determine if therapy could assist you. Please use a contact option on the right to book a preliminary assessment session in Bexley.

Counselling

Counselling centres on listening to you, and assisting you. You decide which matter regarding your early years or adult life you discuss. The aim of counselling is to enable you to speak about a difficulty and find a way forward that is right for you.

The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) (England and Wales) recommends counselling for depression.

Humanistic Therapy

Humanistic therapy centres on valuing you. It sees you as a whole human being and emphasises your personal growth. Humanistic therapy seeks to help you recognise your freedom.
