More Detail

3+ Years Post-Registration Experience

Welcome. I'm Andrew. I'm a registered counsellor and psychotherapist - I help individuals with their emotional wellbeing. I hold private sector experience as a counsellor and psychotherapist. My focus includes depression, relationship problems and self esteem, as well as the specific difficulties encountered by men, transgender people and women.

What to Expect

A preliminary assessment appointment enables you to discover if you feel comfortable with me, share what concerns you, ask questions, clarify confidentiality, and decide if therapy could benefit you. Please use a contact option on the right to book an initial assessment appointment in Farringdon, London or Camden, London.

Counselling

Counselling centres on listening to you, and supporting you. You decide what issue regarding your childhood or adulthood you discuss. An aim of counselling is to help you to speak about a difficulty and discover a solution that is right for you.

The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) (England and Wales) recommends counselling for depression.

Existential Therapy

Existential therapy investigates how you comprehend your life. It involves reflection on your viewpoints, capacities and options. Existential therapy seeks to help you find meaning in your existence and the problems you experience.

Psychotherapy

Psychotherapy focuses on you, and you gaining insight into the problems you confront. It explores your thoughts, emotions and relevant moments in your life. Psychotherapy intends to help you develop or find appropriate methods of managing.
