More Detail

11+ Years Post-Registration Experience

Hello. I'm Tony. I'm a registered counsellor and psychotherapist - I help individuals and couples with their emotional wellbeing. I have private and public sector experience as a counsellor and psychotherapist. My interest includes relationship problems, as well as the particular difficulties experienced by men.

What to Expect

An initial assessment session helps you to discover if you are comfortable with me, discuss what concerns you, ask questions, clarify confidentiality, and determine if therapy could benefit you. Please use a contact option on the right to arrange a preliminary assessment session in Banbury.

Counselling centres on listening to you, and supporting you. You decide what issue regarding your early years and/or adulthood you discuss. The aim of counselling is to enable you to talk about a difficulty and discover a solution that is appropriate for you.

The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) (England and Wales) recommends counselling for depression.

Integrative Therapy

Integrative therapy combines therapeutic approaches to fit your needs and the problems you experience. It explores your subjective experiences and choices. The aim of integrative therapy is to help you develop your self-understanding.

Psychotherapy focuses on you, and you gaining insight into the problems you face. It explores your thoughts, feelings and relevant events in your life. Psychotherapy aims to help you develop or find suitable ways of coping.
