What to Expect

An introductory assessment session helps you to discover if you feel comfortable with me, share what troubles you, ask questions, understand confidentiality, and decide if therapy could assist you. Please use a contact option on the right to book an introductory assessment meeting in Angel, London.

Counselling centres on listening to you, and assisting you. You decide what matter concerning your early years and/or adult life you discuss. The aim of counselling is to enable you to talk about a problem and discover a solution that is right for you.

Psychodynamic Therapy

Psychodynamic therapy centres on the unconscious meaning of the problems you encounter. It facilitates you in becoming conscious of parts of your internal dynamics. Psychodynamic therapy seeks to increase your self-comprehension to give you choices.

The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) (England and Wales) recommends psychodynamic therapy for anorexia nervosa, depression, self harm and substance dependence.

Psychotherapy focuses on you, and you obtaining insight into the problems you confront. It explores your thoughts, feelings and significant events in your life. Psychotherapy aims to help you develop or find appropriate methods of coping.
