More Detail

Over 9 Years Post-Registration Experience

Hi. I'm Theodora Bell. I'm a registered counsellor and psychotherapist - I help individuals with their mental health. I hold private sector experience as a counsellor and psychotherapist.

What to Expect

An introductory assessment session enables you to see if you are comfortable with me, discuss what troubles you, ask questions, understand confidentiality, and assess if therapy may benefit you. Please use a contact option on the right to book an introductory assessment meeting in Southfields, London.

Counselling centres on listening to you, and assisting you. You determine what issue regarding your early years and/or adult life you discuss. An objective of counselling is to help you to talk about a difficulty and discover a solution that is right for you.

Psychodynamic Therapy

Psychodynamic therapy centres on the unconscious causes of the problems you experience. It facilitates you in becoming aware of aspects of your internal dynamics. Psychodynamic therapy aims to enhance your self-comprehension to give you options.

The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) (England and Wales) recommends psychodynamic therapy for depression.

Psychosynthesis Therapy

Psychosynthesis therapy views the obstacles you encounter as opportunities for you to develop. It facilitates your comprehension of your different aspects. An objective of psychosynthesis therapy is to help you harmonise elements of yourself.

Psychotherapy focuses on you, and you gaining insight into the difficulties you face. It considers your thoughts, emotions and significant moments in your history. Psychotherapy intends to help you develop or discover appropriate methods of coping.
