More Detail

Over 7 Years Post-Accreditation Experience

Welcome. I'm Susan. I'm an accredited and registered counsellor and psychotherapist - I help individuals and couples with their emotional health. I have private sector experience as a counsellor and psychotherapist.

What to Expect

An initial assessment meeting allows you to discover if you feel comfortable with me, discuss what concerns you, ask questions, understand confidentiality, and decide if therapy could assist you. Please use a contact option on the right to book an introductory assessment meeting in Romford.

Counselling

(1 Review)
Counselling centres on listening to you, and assisting you. You determine which matter concerning your childhood or adult life you discuss. An objective of counselling is to enable you to talk about a problem and discover a solution which is right for you.

Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR)

Eye movement desensitisation reprocessing guides your eye movements to stimulate how your mind processes data. The procedure attempts to reprocess your frozen distressing recollections. The objective of eye movement desensitisation reprocessing is to desensitise your upsetting memories.

The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) (England and Wales) recommends eye movement desensitisation reprocessing for Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).

Psychotherapy

Psychotherapy focuses on you, and you gaining insight into the problems you face. It explores your thoughts, feelings and relevant moments in your history. Psychotherapy aims to help you develop or find suitable methods of managing.
