More Detail

Over 13 Years Post-Accreditation Experience

Welcome. I'm Rosemary. I'm an accredited and registered counsellor and psychotherapist - I help individuals with their emotional wellbeing. I have private sector experience as a counsellor and psychotherapist.

What to Expect

An introductory assessment session helps you to see if you are comfortable with me, discuss what concerns you, ask questions, clarify confidentiality, and decide if therapy may help you. Please use a contact option on the right to book an introductory assessment appointment in Ealing, London.

Client Centred Therapy

Client centred therapy focuses on understanding and supporting you. It facilitates your honesty around the worries you encounter. Client centred therapy seeks to help you discover your own solutions.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

Cognitive behavioural therapy focuses on how your thoughts (cognitions) affect your feelings and behaviour. It recognises and addresses negative thoughts which maintain the problems you experience. The objective of cognitive behavioural therapy is for you to experience healthier thoughts and feelings.

The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) (England and Wales) recommends cognitive behavioural therapy for alcohol dependence, depression, Generalised Anxiety Disorder (GAD) and panic disorder.

Counselling

Counselling centres on listening to you, and supporting you. You decide what matter regarding your childhood and/or adulthood you explore. An objective of counselling is to help you to speak about a difficulty and find a way forward that is appropriate for you.

Psychotherapy

Psychotherapy focuses on you, and you gaining insight into the problems you confront. It considers your ideas, feelings and relevant events in your life. Psychotherapy intends to help you change or find appropriate ways of managing.
