More Detail

Over 8 Years Post-Accreditation Experience

Hi. I'm Rachel. I'm an accredited and registered counsellor and psychotherapist - I assist individuals with their emotional wellbeing. I hold private and voluntary sector experience as a counsellor and psychotherapist. My focus involves depression, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and self esteem, and the particular difficulties faced by women.

What to Expect

An introductory assessment meeting enables you to see if you are comfortable with me, share what worries you, ask questions, understand confidentiality, and determine if therapy could assist you. Please use a contact option on the right to book an initial assessment appointment in Hornsey, London or Stoke Newington, London.

Counselling centres on listening to you, and supporting you. You decide which matter regarding your early years and/or adult life you explore. An objective of counselling is to help you to talk about a difficulty and find a solution that is right for you.

Psychoanalytic Therapy

Psychoanalytic therapy focuses on the unconscious meaning of the problems you experience. It facilitates your consciousness of parts of your unconscious. The objective of psychoanalytic therapy is for you to gain personal knowledge and utilise it if you wish to.

Psychotherapy focuses on you, and you gaining insight into the difficulties you face. It explores your thoughts, feelings and significant events in your life. Psychotherapy aims to help you develop or discover suitable ways of managing.

Systemic Therapy

Systemic therapy focuses on the organisation of interactions between you and others. It identifies the interactions which maintain the relationship conflicts you experience. Systemic therapy intends to help you improve how you interact with others.
