More Detail

27+ Years Post-Accreditation Experience

Welcome. I am Phoebe. I'm a senior accredited and registered counsellor and psychotherapist - I help individuals and couples with their emotional wellbeing. I have private sector experience as a counsellor and psychotherapist. My interest includes depression, relationship problems and self esteem, as well as the particular obstacles experienced by men.

What to Expect

An introductory assessment session enables you to see if you are comfortable with me, discuss what concerns you, ask questions, understand confidentiality, and decide if therapy could help you. Please use a contact option on the right to book an initial assessment appointment in Kingston Upon Thames.

Counselling centres on listening to you, and supporting you. You determine which matter regarding your early years and/or adult life you explore. The objective of counselling is to enable you to speak about a difficulty and discover a solution that is appropriate for you.

The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) (England and Wales) recommends counselling for depression.

Psychodynamic Therapy

Psychodynamic therapy centres on the unconscious causes of the problems you experience. It facilitates you in being conscious of parts of your inner dynamics. Psychodynamic therapy seeks to increase your self-comprehension to give you options.

The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) (England and Wales) suggests psychodynamic therapy for anorexia nervosa, depression and self harm.

Psychotherapy focuses on you, and you obtaining insight into the difficulties you confront. It considers your thoughts, emotions and significant moments in your life. Psychotherapy intends to help you develop or find appropriate ways of managing.
