12+ Years Post-Accreditation Experience

Hello. I am Lesley Davies. I'm a senior accredited and registered counsellor - I assist individuals and couples with their psychological health. I hold private and public sector experience as a counsellor. My interest includes abuse, depression and stress, as well as the specific problems encountered by business men and women.

What to Expect

An initial assessment meeting allows you to discover if you feel comfortable with me, share what concerns you, ask questions, understand confidentiality, and decide if therapy could assist you. Please use a contact option on the right to book an introductory assessment meeting in Windlesham.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

CBT focuses on how your thoughts (cognitions) influence your emotions and actions. It identifies and addresses negative ideas that perpetuate the issues you experience. The aim of cognitive behavioural therapy is for you to experience healthier thoughts and emotions.

The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) (England and Wales) indicates CBT for depression, Generalised Anxiety Disorder (GAD), Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), panic disorder, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), self harm and social anxiety disorder.

Counselling

(1 Review)
Counselling centres on listening to you, and assisting you. You decide what matter concerning your childhood and/or adult life you discuss. The objective of counselling is to help you to speak about a difficulty and discover a solution that is appropriate for you.

The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) (England and Wales) recommends counselling for depression.

Easy to talk toHelpfulnessValue for Money

"Lesley was really easy to talk to, she helped me get through a really difficult time in my life. Lesley helped me to understand what I was going through. We talked a lot about my childhood, which I hadn't realised had caused me so much pain, I enjoyed our chats, and always felt at ease and comfortable when I was with Lesley."
