Welcome. I'm Lea Milenovic. I'm a chartered and registered counselling psychologist - I help individuals with their psychological health. I hold private sector experience as a counselling psychologist.

What to Expect

An introductory assessment session helps you to see if you feel comfortable with me, share what concerns you, ask questions, understand confidentiality, and determine if therapy may assist you. Please use a contact option on the right to arrange an introductory assessment session in Selsdon, South Croydon.

Client Centred Therapy

Client centred therapy concentrates on understanding and supporting you. It encourages your openness about the concerns you encounter. Client centred therapy seeks to help you discover your own answers.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

CBT focuses on how your thoughts affect your emotions and behaviour. It recognises and addresses negative thoughts which perpetuate the problems you encounter. The aim of CBT is for you to experience healthier thoughts and emotions.

The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) (England and Wales) indicates CBT for Body Dysmorphic Disorder (BDD), depression, Generalised Anxiety Disorder (GAD), Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), panic disorder and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).

Counselling centres on listening to you, and supporting you. You determine which issue concerning your early years and/or adulthood you discuss. An aim of counselling is to enable you to talk about a difficulty and find a solution which is appropriate for you.

Integrative Therapy

Integrative therapy combines therapeutic approaches to suit your preferences and the problems you experience. It considers your personal experience and options. An aim of integrative therapy is to help you advance your self-awareness.
