9+ Years Post-Registration Experience

Hello. I'm Karl. I'm a registered psychotherapist - I support individuals with their psychological wellbeing. I have private sector experience as a psychotherapist. My focus includes depression, Generalised Anxiety Disorder (GAD) and self esteem, as well as the particular issues experienced by men, transgender people and women.

What to Expect

An initial assessment appointment allows you to see if you are comfortable with me, discuss what concerns you, ask questions, clarify confidentiality, and decide if therapy may help you. Please use a contact option on the right to arrange an initial assessment appointment in Ealing, London.

Counselling

Counselling centres on listening to you, and supporting you. You decide which issue regarding your childhood or adult life you explore. The aim of counselling is to help you to speak about a difficulty and find a way forward that is right for you.

The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) (England and Wales) recommends counselling for depression.

Existential Therapy

Existential therapy explores how you perceive your life. It involves reflection on your perspectives, potential and choices. Existential therapy aims to help you discover meaning in your life and the problems you encounter.

Psychotherapy

Psychotherapy focuses on you, and you gaining insight into the problems you face. It explores your thoughts, emotions and significant events in your life. Psychotherapy aims to help you change or discover suitable ways of managing.
