More Detail

17+ Years Post-Registration Experience

Welcome. I'm Julie Harding. I'm a registered counsellor and a registered psychotherapist - I support individuals with their mental wellbeing. I have private and voluntary sector experience as a counsellor and a psychotherapist. My interest involves depression, self esteem and stress, as well as the particular problems experienced by men, transgender people and women.

What to Expect

A preliminary assessment session enables you to discover if you feel comfortable with me, discuss what troubles you, ask questions, clarify confidentiality, and assess if therapy may assist you. Please use a contact option on the right to book an initial assessment meeting in Kings Langley.

Counselling centres on listening to you, and assisting you. You determine what matter concerning your early years and/or adulthood you discuss. An objective of counselling is to help you to talk about a problem and discover a way forward which is appropriate for you.

The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) (England and Wales) recommends counselling for depression.

Integrative Therapy

Integrative therapy selects therapies to fit your needs and the issues you encounter. It explores your subjective experiences and options. The aim of integrative therapy is to help you develop your self-understanding.

Psychosynthesis Therapy

Psychosynthesis therapy views the blocks you encounter as moments for you to develop. It facilitates your understanding of your different attributes. An objective of psychosynthesis therapy is to help you harmonise aspects of yourself.

Psychotherapy focuses on you, and you obtaining insight into the problems you confront. It explores your ideas, feelings and relevant moments in your history. Psychotherapy aims to help you change or find appropriate methods of managing.
