Hello. I'm Joyce. I'm a registered counsellor and psychotherapist - I support individuals and couples with their psychological health. I have private sector experience as a counsellor and psychotherapist.

What to Expect

An introductory assessment session enables you to discover if you are comfortable with me, share what worries you, ask questions, clarify confidentiality, and decide if therapy may benefit you. Please use a contact option on the right to book a preliminary assessment appointment in Clerkenwell, London or Sandgate, Folkestone.

Counselling

Counselling centres on listening to you, and supporting you. You decide what issue concerning your childhood or adult life you explore. The objective of counselling is to enable you to talk about a difficulty and discover a solution that is appropriate for you.

Psychosexual Therapy

Psychosexual therapy concentrates on treating the sexual difficulties you encounter. When appropriate, you complete treatment tasks privately in your home. Psychosexual therapy aims to help you overcome sexual difficulties.

Psychotherapy

Psychotherapy focuses on you, and you gaining insight into the difficulties you face. It explores your ideas, emotions and relevant events in your history. Psychotherapy intends to help you change or find appropriate ways of coping.
