Welcome. I'm John. I'm an accredited and registered counsellor and psychotherapist - I support individuals, couples and families with their psychological wellbeing. I hold private sector experience as a counsellor and psychotherapist.

What to Expect

A preliminary assessment session enables you to see if you are comfortable with me, share what troubles you, ask questions, clarify confidentiality, and decide if therapy may assist you. Please use a contact option on the right to book an initial assessment session in Walthamstow, London.

Client Centred Therapy

Client centred therapy focuses on understanding and supporting you. It encourages your honesty about the worries you encounter. Client centred therapy seeks to help you find your own solutions.

Counselling

Counselling centres on listening to you, and assisting you. You decide what issue regarding your childhood and/or adulthood you explore. An aim of counselling is to enable you to speak about a difficulty and discover a way forward which is right for you.

Psychotherapy

Psychotherapy focuses on you, and you obtaining insight into the problems you face. It considers your ideas, emotions and relevant events in your history. Psychotherapy intends to help you develop or find appropriate methods of managing.
