Hello. I'm Janet. I'm a registered counsellor and psychotherapist - I help individuals with their emotional wellbeing. I have private and voluntary sector experience as a counsellor and psychotherapist. My interest includes depression, relationship problems and social anxiety disorder, and the particular difficulties experienced by men and women.

What to Expect

An initial assessment session allows you to see if you are comfortable with me, discuss what troubles you, ask questions, understand confidentiality, and decide if therapy may help you. Please use a contact option on the right to arrange an initial assessment session in Victoria, London.

Counselling

Counselling centres on listening to you, and assisting you. You decide what issue concerning your childhood or adult life you explore. The aim of counselling is to help you to talk about a difficulty and find a way forward which is right for you.

Humanistic Therapy

Humanistic therapy centres on valuing you. It sees you as a whole person and emphasises your personal growth. Humanistic therapy seeks to help you recognise your freedom.

Psychotherapy

Psychotherapy focuses on you, and you gaining insight into the difficulties you face. It explores your thoughts, feelings and significant events in your life. Psychotherapy aims to help you develop or find appropriate ways of coping.
