More Detail

Over 6 Years Post-Accreditation Experience

Hello. I'm Hans. I'm an accredited and registered counsellor and psychotherapist - I help individuals with their psychological wellbeing. I have private, public and voluntary sector experience as a counsellor and psychotherapist. My focus includes abuse, depression and relationship problems, and the particular difficulties faced by men, transgender people and women.

What to Expect

An initial assessment meeting allows you to see if you are comfortable with me, share what concerns you, ask questions, understand confidentiality, and decide if therapy could help you. Please use a contact option on the right to book a preliminary assessment session in Blewbury, Didcot.

Counselling centres on listening to you, and supporting you. You determine which issue concerning your early years and/or adult life you explore. The objective of counselling is to help you to speak about a difficulty and discover a way forward that is appropriate for you.

Humanistic Therapy

Humanistic therapy centres on appreciating you. It sees you as a whole person and prioritises your unique growth. Humanistic therapy aims to help you recognise your freedom.

Integrative Therapy

Integrative therapy combines therapeutic approaches to fit your preferences and the issues you experience. It explores your personal experience and choices. The aim of integrative therapy is to help you develop your self-understanding.

Psychodynamic Therapy

Psychodynamic therapy focuses on the unconscious meaning of the issues you encounter. It facilitates you in being conscious of parts of your inner dynamics. Psychodynamic therapy aims to enhance your self-understanding to give you choices.

The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) (England and Wales) indicates psychodynamic therapy for depression and self harm.

Psychotherapy focuses on you, and you gaining insight into the problems you confront. It considers your thoughts, feelings and relevant events in your history. Psychotherapy intends to help you develop or discover appropriate ways of managing.
